2008 Bookings Open!

The 2008 Australian Science Festival school program will be held from August 20 to 22 at the National Convention Centre in Canberra. With a wide range of curriculum-relevant activities from high quality shows to class-sized workshops, this year’s program offers something for all school students.

Tickets start from $4 per student with free entry for supervising teachers and adults. Seats are limited so be sure to book early to avoid disappointment.

The school program runs alongside ActewAGL’s Amazing World of Science exhibition. This exhibition showcases a wide range of science applications and some of the exciting career opportunities science can offer.

ActewAGL’s Amazing World of Science

The centrepiece of the Australian Science Festival is ActewAGL’s Amazing World of Science, a showcase of technological advancements and scientific knowledge. It is renowned for its interactive, science inspired exhibits and fun for the whole family. Get up close and personal with snakes, experience a Dalek invasion, catch a show or get stuck into a workshop.
